welcome to portland

Weather in Portland:

In November, you can expect “clouds and sun with an occasional shower,” highs likely in the lower 60’s, and in the upper 40’s at night. Bring layers, sensible shoes, and maybe an umbrella. This is Portland! For more weather information, go to: http://www.kgw.com/weather/

Transportation:

By taxi, Uber or Lyft from PDX, it will take about 25 minutes to get to the hotel and cost around $50. We are a green city, so we encourage ride sharing! (recommended for late night arrivals)

Public transportation is easy and inexpensive: Take the MAX Light Rail Red Line from PDX to the Oak Street / SW 1st Street stop – about 40 minutes - and walk about 3.5 short blocks to the hotel. Cost: about $3

Those of you who are driving, the Embassy Suites Downtown has valet parking – please check with the hotel for daily and overnight rates. There are also nearby parking garages (Smart Park) and street parking, which might have a 2-hour time limit.

Hotel:

Most of us will be enjoying the convenience and service of staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Downtown. If you haven’t reserved your hotel room yet, book today! The hotel is selling out fast! LINK:  https://www.hilton.com/en/attend-my-event/2025sietarusanationalconference/

Note to guests: Be sure to let the front desk know you are with SIETAR-USA when you check in.
