UPCOMING WEBINAR
Wednesday, July 9th - 11:30AM ET
One Choice, Many Reasons: Â Holding Space for Difference
Unconscious bias touches everyone, and educators and trainers are continually called to deepen their awareness and practice of cultural inclusivity — both in their personal growth and in their engagement with others. Across cultures and continents, women participate in the rich, time-honored tradition of head and hair wrapping — a practice steeped in personal, cultural, and spiritual significance. Yet, it is often misunderstood and clouded by harmful stereotypes. In our time together, we will explore how to honor this expression without marginalizing those who practice it, and how to foster a greater sense of psychological safety. Through the lens of a simple piece of fabric, we’ll uncover the deeper meanings behind a universal symbol of femininity and resilience.
