EARTHWATCH - Facilitator for Teen Teams

Position Summary
We are seeking dynamic, flexible, and hardworking individuals to facilitate our 2023 teen teams. Facilitating one of our teen teams is an intensive yet highly rewarding experience. Facilitators provide support to the research team by managing the additional care and supervision of our teen participants. Facilitators ensure the teens’ safety and welfare, establishing and enforcing rules/codes of conduct, contributing actively to problem-solving and troubleshooting, and implementing various recreational or educational activities; facilitators also participate on the expedition as a volunteer alongside teen participants.

AUGSBURG UNIVERSITY:
Seeking International Resident Assistant (Fellow)

Are you looking to work abroad? CGEE (Center for Global Education and Experience) is hiring in Cuernavaca! We are looking for our next International Resident Assistant (Fellow) for August 2023 through August 2024 (with the possibility of an extension). Applications are due March 15, 2023, and review will begin after that date.
The purpose of this one-year stipend fellowship is to promote a healthy living/learning environment for semester students and participants in short-term educational seminars at Augsburg CGEE in Mexico. In addition, the primary responsibilities of the fellow are to assist study abroad students (mostly coming from the U.S.A.) with medical and emotional issues and to help them develop intercultural and global competencies, as well as to assist in the operation of all educational programs. The IRA will also be expected to help produce social media that can help promote these programs.
Length and dates of this stipend fellowship position: August 15, 2023 – August 31, 2024. Strong knowledge of both Spanish and English is required.
There is a possibility of extending the fellowship for a second year with an increase of US $100/month in the stipend (US $750/month during the second year if that is agreed upon).
