JOIN SIETAR USA
The North American Simulation and Gaming Association (www.nasaga.org) is a community of practice of trainers, educators, game designers, and facilitators working on the design and implementation of serious games, simulations, and other experiential activities. NASAGA promotes professional networking, provides training and education, and advocates the use of experiential activities to industry and academia.
NASAGA's annual conference is an intimate and inspiring gathering where approximately 150 participants share new games (both digital and face-to-face), play and debrief new and classic simulations, and discuss game and simulation design. All NASAGA sessions are participatory and interactive -- unlike most other conferences you'll attend, we don't have "death by PowerPoint" presentations or "sit and listen" panels. “Laughter, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Learning” is NASAGA’s theme for its 2009 conference in Washington, DC, October 7-10. If you are a trainer, designer, coach or educator who uses interactive activities in your work, you owe it to yourself to attend! The conference will feature over 30 concurrent sessions and a games (educational) night. Preconference workshops offer more in-depth learning plus certificate programs in design and facilitation of games, activities, and simulations. Join us! You will not regret your decision.
