Personal Leadership: 6 Practices & 2 Principles to Help Build Cultural Competence and Resilience, or a Tool That Keeps on Giving
Whether you are an executive coach, a cross-cultural facilitator or an educator – the foundation for any type of development work for individuals and groups is self-awareness. The 6 practices and 2 principles of Personal Leadership (PL) conceived of by three long-time “activists” in the field of Intercultural Communication and Human Development (Barbara Schaetti, Gordon Watanabe and Sheila Ramsey) is an excellent “tool” to help people become more self-aware – and be at choice regarding their reactions in situations of conflict, chaos or confusion. This webinar will provide an overview of the framework of PL and invite participants into a discussion of how this tried and true approach can help people - and clients - from all walks of life “dance with difference” more effectively and increase their resilience.
