As you get ready to attend the 2017 SIETAR USA conference, please consider donating an item to the Silent Auction hosted at the conference. All donated items are displayed at the Silent Auction space for bidding by conference participants. Proceeds from the auction go toward scholarships that are granted to interculturalists who might not otherwise be able to attend the conference, such as students and employees/volunteers of community-based non-profit organizations. Last year we were able to provide scholarships for 10 participants thanks to the generosity of those who contributed to the silent auction.
Conference participants enjoy finding treasures at the annual Silent Auction: Gorgeous one-of-a-kind cultural artifacts and artworks; clothing; specialty foods; decorative items; educational, travel, business books; DVDs; exciting seminars; professional consultations and coaching sessions.

All of us have accumulated treasures during our travels—so many that we need to clear things out from time to time!
You can also ship donations directly to San Diego so that you do not have to worry about carrying them with you! If you choose to ship items, please let us know and we will send you our mailing address.
